If one chooses to provide personal information while on our website for the purposes of signing up to receive ministry updates, making a donation, signing up to volunteer, requesting resources, filling out a mission trip inquiry form, or registering for an event, then it is our intent to let you know how we will use such information.

Personally identifiable information includes:

Payment Information

• Credit/debit card information
• Bank account checking /routing number
• Financial Institution Information

When you make a donation online, we ask for your name, address, phone, e-mail address, and credit card or bank account information. Credit card numbers and bank account numbers are used only for donation processing and are not retained for any other purposes. Sensitive payment information is not stored on our server.

In the event that a donation on our website is begun but not completed, some of the personal information entered before the donation is abandoned (e.g. name, phone number, email address, and mailing address) may still be sent to Mission Eurasia and used for the purpose of contacting you in the case of a failed donation. • Web browser used (e.g. Internet Explorer or Safari)
• Device type (e.g. mobile or desktop)

We gather broad demographic information about which countries and domains our visitors originate from and use these analytics to improve our Site and make your experience as smooth as possible.

Google Analytics

This website is enabled with Google Analytics to collect information about the use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies.

Lucky Orange Web Analytics Service

This site uses the Lucky Orange analytics system to help improve usability and the customer experience. Lucky Orange may record mouse clicks, mouse movements and scrolling activity. Lucky Orange may record keystroke information that you voluntarily enter on this website. Lucky Orange does not track this activity on any site that does not use the Lucky Orange system. You can view Lucky Orange’s privacy policy and choose to disable the Lucky Orange Service here.

5. Cookies

As with most other internet sites, our web servers utilize “cookies” to track a user’s activity within our Site as well as record the IP address of each visitor. A cookie is a small data file that is stored on your computer and can be removed at any time. A cookie contains a unique identifying feature that allows our computer to recognize you when you return to our Site. The recorded IP address tells us where you visited from, but not any other personal and private information, unless you choose to share this with us by filling out and submitting a form on our Site.

6. How We Use the Information We Collect

We respect your privacy. Mission Eurasia will not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. The identity of all who contact us through our website will be kept confidential. Use of personal information will be limited to the internal purposes of Mission Eurasia and only to further the ministry activities and purposes of Mission Eurasia. We protect and do not share information we receive from all online visitors.

Mission Eurasia uses your information to understand your needs and provide you with better service. Specifically, we use your information to help you complete a transaction, communicate with you, update you on ministry happenings, and personalize our website for you. Credit card numbers and bank account information are only used for donation or payment processing and are not retained for other purposes. From time to time we may contact you for market research or to provide you with information we think would be of particular interest. At minimum, we will always give you the opportunity to decline such direct marketing or market research contact.

We may disclose to third party’s aggregate statistics regarding donations, but these statistics do not include personal identifying information. Information given may include: total number of donors, total amount of donations for specific periods of time or categories, and referring websites.

We use one or more third-party financial institutions to process our credit card and bank account transactions. They receive the credit card number, bank account number, and other personal information of our donors only to verify the account numbers and to process these transactions in a secure environment.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service and prohibit them from using online giver information for any other purpose unless the user has given specific permission to do so. These third parties are subject to their own policies on data protection and privacy. It is a good idea to check their privacy policy when you provide your information to them to fully understand how they will process your data and may share it with others.

In determining data retention periods, Mission Eurasia takes into consideration data protection regulations, local laws, contractual obligations, and the expectations and requirements based on the nature of the relationship with Mission Eurasia.

8. Security

Mission Eurasia is committed to ensuring the security of your information. Our online donation processing system allows you to make safe and secure donations. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology when collecting or transferring sensitive data such as credit card information to protect your information.

Our online credit card verification system is handled by a third party, which collects your name, address, phone, and credit card information in order to process your donation. Their encryption technology offers an extremely high level of security. They also have state-of-the-art firewalls and other security technology in place to ensure the confidentiality of your transactions.

Please be aware that, despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
